Split batten/French cleat system
This installation system is a fast and easy way to mount your new unit securely, providing you follow these steps.
Refer to diagram. Each unit is supplied with attached batten to unit and wall batten to be fitted.
1. Remove all draws and draws prior to installation.
2. Screw provided wall batten into studded frame or brick/concrete wall. Ensure batten is level and firmly secured.
3. Mount/hang the unit to the secure wall batten as shown on diagram.
4. Once unit is in place, ensuring unit is hard to wall and battens are locked in securely, screw in additional screws through the top unit batten.
