Wormy Chestnut is an Australian Eucalypt species of hardwood predominantly found in the East Gippsland region, Victoria. Created and effected by the harsh Australian elements, this hardwood timbers growth has been stunted to cope with its environment. The timber colour palette shows deep red gum veins, black markings and native worm strokes giving it a similar look to Messmate. Wormy Chestnut’s fiery streaks and colour variations make for a statement look.
